Kickstarter is a crowdfunding website. its the websight that will get Fantasy Fishin' off the ground and on to shelves.
how does Kickstarter work?
Kickstarter allows people to help fund a project by donating $. but there's usually something awesome in it for the people donating. For example, For my board game If you donate 30$ you will get a copy of the board game when it first releases! (price may vary) This is awesome for many reasons such as reasons.

- This may end up being cheaper than MSRP (saving you money)
- You will get the game before anyone else!
- It provides the capital to print in bulk and therefore create a higher-quality product without raising the price.

Why is Kickstarter Important for Fantasy Fishin'?
Manufacturing becomes significantly more expensive If one prints in small quantities. Did you know, If I only printed 10 copies of the game the MSRP would have to be about 500$? for this reason, lowering costs by mass-producing the game is a must. In order to keep the cost of the game down to about 30$ I will need enough upfront $ to print about 2000 copies. So it's all or nothing! I either buy 1000s of dollers worth of products or none at all. So raising the money upfront for a small-time creator like myself is important.

Once I launch my Kickstarter I will only have 30 days to raise the money or else the campaign will fail and everyone will get their money back. For this reason, I'm not launching until I am confident I will succeed. So you can't donate to Kickstarter yet, however, you can press this link in order to go to the prelaunch page. This will sign you up to get an email the second the game launches!
Why is Signing up for the PreLaunch important?
You might be thinking, If the campaign takes 30 days, I'm sure I won't miss it What's the point of signing up to be notified?
Well, not only does it significantly decrease the chance of you missing out but it also helps me succeed. How? The more people who sign up early the more serious the Kickstarter algorithm will take this project! You will know you signed up for the pre-launch correctly when you go to the pre-launch page and you see an icon that says "saved" instead of an icon that says "notify me" If it still says notify me, click on notify me to get started. All that will change is you will get an email when the Kickstarter launches. once it launches you can support it right away by donating. This will help the project more than anything else! If extra money is raised the game will be printed with extra bonuses at no extra cost to you, the consumer. So if you are buying the game anyway, make sure you tell your friends so that the game becomes better and better! these bonuses will include.
